Amalgam Waste 6.5 Gallons - for larger clinics
This container is designed for the safe, compliant disposal of used chairside traps, solids collectors and for loose amalgam sludge, as well as amalgam separators from other manufacturers. It is equipped with our unique mercury vapor suppressant technology that reduces your exposure to dangerous mercury vapors to a minimum. Based on our experience, mostly larger dental clinics favor the 6.5 gal container to recycle their amalgam waste.
Amalgam Waste 4.0 Gallons - for large clinics
This container is also designed for the safe, compliant disposal of used chairside traps, solids collectors and for loose amalgam sludge, but comes in a medium size suitable for larger clinics. They can also be used to dispose of amalgam separators from other manufacturers. Our 4.0 gal containers feature a unique technology that protects you from getting exposed to harmful mercury vapors, so that you can feel safe at your workplace.
Amalgam Waste 1.5 Gallons - for small practices
This is our smallest container for the safe, compliant disposal of used chairside traps, solids collectors and for loose amalgam sludge. It comes in a perfect size for smaller dental offices, which do not have a huge amount of amalgam waste to recycle. Our 1.5 gal container - as all our containers - includes a patented technology, which protects you and your staff from poisonous mercury vapors by reducing your exposure to a minimum.
Toothbox 0.35 Gallons
Our Toothbox has been specifically designed for the safe and compliant disposal of extracted teeth with amalgam fillings. It is vital to sort the different kinds of amalgam waste before recycling, so we offer different containers for different purposes. All of them - even our Toothbox - are equipped with a patented technology, which protects you from the dangers of mercury vapor exposure at your workplace.
medentovap - our unique mercury vapor suppressant technology
For the secure handling and storage of amalgam waste, all of our containers are equipped with medentovap mercury vapor suppressant technology. The lids contain a special sponge impregnated with medentovap, in order to minimize toxic mercury vapor emission from the containers.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends a maximum exposure of 50 micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3). A study conducted by medentex indicated that containers without mercury vapor suppressants emit a much higher concentration of the dangerous vapor than recommended.
